ROMAN FLUGEL READIES 'FATTY FOLDERS'...
Roman Flügel has a new album in the works for Dial called Fatty Folders.
Flugel is no stranger to the album format: in the course of his prolific recording career, which stretches back to 1997, he's released a number of LPs under several pseudonyms, such as Soylent Green, Roman IV, Ro70 and Alter Ego, his famous electro duo with Jörn Elling Wuttke. Fatty Folders will be the Frankfurt native's first under his given name. Due out in September, the record combines previously unreleased tracks with selections from Flugel's recent 12-inches for Dial, namely Brasil and How To Spread Lies. It will be his first full-length since his Live at Robert Johnson mix from last year.
