PM's MISSUS ROCKS OUT IN IBIZA...

Samantha & David in Ibiza
David Cameron’s wife Samantha was spotted partying in Ibiza last weekend at Pacha’s closing party for their IMS conference in Ibiza Town’s Dalt Villa, provoking a wildly conflicting response from Britain’s media about her behaviour.

While the Mirror sneered ‘Samantha Cameron joined 2,500 young clubbers at a drug-fuelled rave on party island Ibiza’, Telegraph columnist Rowan Pelling approved labeling her the ‘standard-bearer for a generation who have no shame in retaining a small portion of their youthful passions’.

"I think it’s safe to say that a prime minister’s consort has never before been sighted grooving to techno. There may even be those who feel it’s an unseemly way for the 40-year-old to behave,” she suggested, “Yet I can’t think of a single woman who won’t be applauding her flight from orthodoxy.” (Telegraph: http://bit.ly/mpifUS)

Sun columnist and Ibiza expert Dangerous Dave Pearce meanwhile provided some essential clubbing tips for both Sam and Dave, warning each to steer well clear of less well known superclub Beverly's.

“It looks like a nightclub from the outside but is for swingers - a mistake many tourists make,” he explained (The Sun: http://bit.ly/kPyPYt)

Instead, the former Radio 1 star recommended Pacha and slightly more surprisingly San Antonio’s Es Paradis.

“Es Paradis has a water party on Fridays when an inside fountain sprays everyone. The water rises above your ankles and people end up half-naked,” he gushed, “It's the ultimate wet T-shirt moment.”

Though David Cameron was later photographed apparently innocently playing with a fishing net on rock pools on the beach, a curiously authentic-seeming Twitter account for one DaveCamm appeared, detailing a riotous sequences of events for ‘Dave Cameroon’.

“Wow, Ibiza is proper mental! Out in Ibiza, 'avin it large!” Dave initially tweeted “IMS was rubbish,” he continued, “Now gone on to Amnesia, the pills are stronger than '89!”

Shortly afterwards, his Tweets took an even druggier turn.

“Whooaaaah! Proper rushing now, I love you all! The UK is the best place in the world, so glad we've colonized #Ibiza with best tunes/drugs,” he wrote, followed by “Beeeeeefa! Them pink callies were spot-on in the mid-90s b4 I had to knuckle down to Tory party duties. But this MDMA powder immense!”

Hours later he experienced an apparent epiphany.

“Why didn't I become a DJ?” wrote Cameroon, “The adulation and the cash would've been so better suited to my personality & talent & ego & fulfillment.”
