MINISTRY OF SOUND TURNS 20...
Ministry of Sound turns 20 this year and to celebrate, London’s most famous super-club is throwing a three night party featuring some of dance music’s biggest names. If you’re likeley to want to be there to see in two decades of MOS, keep the weekend of 16-18 September free, because it’s going to go off!
Ministry have put together a line-up that boasts the best of trance, techno and house, which is exactly the kind of thing that the club has pioneered over the years and which clubbers have lapped-up and come back for time and time again.
The weekend launches with The Gallery on Friday 16 September. Dedicated to trance heroes, the night sees Eddie Halliwell, Sean Tyas, Sied Van Riel and Jochen Miller play in the Box, with Danny Rampling and X-press 2 in the second room.
On Saturday 17, Saturday Sessions provides a stellar selection of tech-house and techno DJs. Nic Fanciulli, Dennis Ferrer and Matthias Tanzmann play the box, with Joe & Will, Burns and Dada Life in the second room. Ministry’s outdoor area is even being opened up, with The TWENTY Terrace welcoming DJ Mag and some very special surprise guests.
Sunday 18 flys under the banner of ’20 years of House Music’ and brings together some absolute house legends. CJ Mackintosh, Frankie Knuckles and David Morales, Farley & Heller and Claudio Coccoluto stepping into the booth to rock MOS to its very foundations and put in a performance that will be remembered for the next 20 years to come. These guys prove that house is an art form, so don’t miss what will be the stuff of legend.
