Last night, Zane Lowe announced the full details of BBC Radio 1 in Ibiza, Including the full line up of a massive free Radio 1 event hosted by Radio 1 DJ’s Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Rob Da Bank - all taking place on Friday 5th August.
Radio 1’s legendary annual trip to the White Isle kicks off at 3.30pm (local time) with a Rob Da Bank ‘Wig Party’ warming up the crowds at a spectacular free party for 4000 people hosted by Radio 1 at the Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel in Playa d'en Bossa. Set to be one of the hottest parties on the island, Rob will be joined by special guests SBTRK, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Hip Hop Karaoke, Professor Green and DJ Alfredo.
From 7pm – 11pm (UK time) the party goes live on-air with Annie Mac and Pete Tong manning the decks alongside some of the biggest and hottest dance acts on the scene:

The Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel has already proven its success this season in Ibiza with several massive parties and replaces the previously announced Radio 1 party at Space that had to be moved, due to unforeseen logistical reasons.
The Radio 1 party closes at 12am (local time) but continues on-air from 11pm – 5am (UK time) with a special extended Live Essential Mix from ‘Come Together’ at the world famous Space nightclub featuring a stellar line up of Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Deadmau5, Knife Party live, Magnetic Man live & Skream and Benga.
The mammoth 12 hour live broadcast finally comes to a close between 5am-7am (UK time) with Rob Da Bank hanging out on the Space roof terrace with special guests popping in alongside some of his music highlights from the earlier ‘Wig Party’.

The party continues on Saturday afternoon with Vernon Kay returning to Ibiza once again to present a live show at 4pm (UK time) featuring a host of Radio 1 dance DJ’s from the previous night, dance anthems and highlights from the Radio 1 party. Vernon then hands over to Trevor Nelson at 7pm (UK time) when the airwaves turn simulcast for Trevor live from Ibiza with a selection of sizzling grooves to close 2011’s trip to Ibiza for both Radio 1 and Radio 1Xtra listeners.
