When I went for my skills review on Wednesday (2days ago) the reception area was absolutely jam packed, I must stood waiting for just over half an hour before we got took into the media centre to do the English and maths skills tests on the computer which I have taken twice before already. I finished before everybody else but I was told to sit downstairs in reception again and wait so that I could see somebody for a short interview. Anyway, long story short, I had to do one more piece of work for photography which was a powerpoint for either light, human body, colour and something else, email it in and then I receive one A level which can really help me to get a place in beauty despite my bad attendance in last year’s photography course which I decided to leave after just one year because I became uninterested and bored of it, and for also some other reasons too! I guess I just have to stay positive now but I’m still really nervous about getting a place. I also have a competitive workshop in the beauty salon in college on the 7th June. I have to wear my hair out of my face, my everyday make-up, no jewellery, plain black trousers, a white blouse and black pumps/shoes. And then I have my last interview on the 14thwhich is when I find out whether I have been offered a place or not; fingers crossed for me?
Update: I chose to do Light on my photography powerpoint which I finished earlier and emailed it back in to Paul in photography even though I forgot to use some of my own images. I’ve also found my outfit to wear to the competitive workshop and interview in June! And also yesterday my mum liked Superdrug's beautycard so much, she went back and got herself one too and some hair dye to re-dye her hair, again! :)
